On May 19, information from the Trade Union of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company, under the Trade Union of Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3), said that the trade union had just coordinated with the company's board of directors to organize health check-ups for more than 400 workers.
During this health check-up, more than 400 employees of the company were given general examinations, paraclinical tests and in-depth health advice by doctors and medical staff of Ho Chi Minh City University Medical Center Hospital.
Through this, workers are checked and assessed for their health status, early detection of disease risks to have appropriate monitoring and treatment directions. At the same time, medical staff also advise on nutrition, lifestyle and disease prevention suitable to the specific work of workers.
Along with that, the company also establishes health monitoring records, professional disease detection examinations, fully equips labor protection equipment and regularly cares for, inspects, and improves working conditions for employees. Regimes on working hours, rest and material allowances for employees working in a special environment are also implemented by the company in accordance with regulations.
This is a practical activity in response to Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026 to care for workers' health, contribute to building a safe working environment, improving the quality of human resources and production and business efficiency, and stable and sustainable development of the company.
