Dien Bien provides free health check-ups and consultations from April 25

Dien Bien - The organization of health check-up and consultation activities is carried out at least once a month.

On April 24, informing reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Pham Giang Nam - Director of Dien Bien Department of Health said that from April 25, 2026, the organization of free health check-ups and consultations for people will be carried out regularly monthly, at least one day/month on Saturdays.

In the immediate future, priority will be given to examinations for the elderly (from 60 years old and over), the poor, near-poor, people with meritorious services to the revolution, people with disabilities, and people who have not participated in health insurance.

According to Mr. Nam, the content of free health consultation includes: Clinical examination, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, health conclusion, health consultation, nutritional consultation. The prescription of other technical services (tests, chest and lung X-rays... ) if truly necessary is prescribed by the clinical examiner.

For wards and communes where hospitals and medical centers are located, examinations will be organized at the outpatient department and related departments.

Wards and communes far from where the Health Center is located, the Health Center organizes mobile examinations at Health Stations and Health Station Points.

Dien Bien Department of Health also assigned the Provincial General Hospital to organize health check-ups and consultations for people in Noong Bua ward (old) and Nam Thanh ward (old).

Traditional Medicine Hospital organizes health check-ups and consultations for people in Muong Thanh ward (old) and Thanh Xuong commune (old).

Dien Bien Phu Health Center organizes health check-ups and consultations for people in the remaining wards and communes in the area under its responsibility.
