Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vu Duc Khien - Deputy Director of Hai Phong City Social Insurance - acknowledged the coordination of units and enterprises in implementing social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies in recent times. At the same time, he emphasized that the Social Insurance Law 2024 and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Social Insurance Law 2024 with many important new points, aiming to best ensure the rights of participants and beneficiaries of social insurance and health insurance policies.
The City Social Insurance recommends that units and enterprises continue to accompany social insurance agencies, strictly implement legal regulations; increase propaganda, promptly update new regulations to raise awareness of compliance of employers and employees.
According to the report of Ngo Quyen Social Insurance, as of August 31, 2025, there were 39,548 people participating in compulsory social insurance in the management area, 3,189 people participating in voluntary social insurance, 37,467 people participating in unemployment insurance and 149,764 people participating in health insurance. Total revenue from social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and occupational accident and disease insurance reached more than 859 billion VND, equal to 64.7% of the assigned plan.
