On the afternoon of April 18, the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province organized a conference to disseminate labor laws; security and order maintenance, network security for union members and workers of RuiAn Footwear Co., Ltd.
Attending the conference were Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Trinh Huynh Yen - Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Authority; leaders of the Security Department, Provincial Police, along with representatives of business leaders and more than 800 union members and employees in the company.
At the conference, union members and workers were disseminated the basic contents of labor law, Trade Union Law, and regimes and policies directly related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
At the same time, update new regulations on social insurance, health insurance, occupational safety and health, working hours, rest hours and regulations in labor relations at enterprises.
Reporters of the Provincial Police also propagated and guided many practical contents on maintaining security and order in enterprises; raising vigilance against crimes and social evils; identifying scams in cyberspace.
At the conference, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong emphasized that propaganda, legal education and raising awareness of labor discipline compliance are important tasks, contributing to building an increasingly strong worker contingent, meeting development requirements in the new situation.
In the coming time, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the province will continue to promote activities towards grassroots levels, strengthen propaganda, dialogue, and care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
