The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has just sent a document to the trade unions of wards, communes, special zones, grassroots trade unions under its comprehensive management and economic and public service units under its management to implement the movement to build the "City of River Flowers" project for the period 2025 - 2030.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation requested units to widely and deeply propagate the movement to build the "City of Colors and Flowers" project in conjunction with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", protect the environment, respond to climate change, develop green space and green growth.
Use digital communication platforms and social networks of agencies, units and businesses to spread the message of "City of colorful flowers", launching communication on the theme "Each person has a flower pot - Each house has a color - Each neighborhood has a flower garden - Each commune has a flower street".
Incorporate the content of building a "City of colorful flowers" into the activities of self-managed workers' groups in boarding houses and accommodation areas with a large number of workers to improve self-management and sustainable movement at the grassroots level.
Launch the movement "Union Garden", "Green - Clean - Beautiful Working Space" at agencies, units, and enterprises. Organize and coordinate the organization of flower, tree and landscape design competitions at agencies, units and enterprises.
Mobilize union officials, union members, and workers to plant flowers and trees at workplaces and accommodation areas with a large number of workers, contributing to building a friendly, civilized and vibrant working environment.
This is an activity to respond to the plan of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on launching and implementing the movement to build the "City of colorful flowers" project for the period 2025 - 2030.
