From the evening of August 27, the atmosphere around My Dinh Stadium became bustling as people gathered here to watch the grandstand simultaneously launched in the preliminary program of the parade and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
Everyone was eagerly waiting for the moment to witness the special moment.
Mr. Nguyen Van Lam (residing in Cau Giay ward) shared that his family had been present since 5pm to choose a suitable location.
"This is the first time I have witnessed the simultaneous fireworks display. Just thinking about the loud sound echoing in the night sky, I felt excited and proud. My whole family considers this an unforgettable memory, an opportunity to educate our children about the history and traditions of the nation" - Mr. Lam shared.
Ms. Tran Thi Hong (from Ninh Binh, currently working in Hanoi) is also looking forward to the moment to witness the mass excavation.
"I heard that there was a big show in the preliminary show, so I decided to go there to experience it. The atmosphere of the parade and march makes many people like me feel like reliving the heroic history of the nation. I believe that the moment a series of great cities resound will make tens of thousands of people feel a sense of pride and national pride" - Ms. Hong said.
According to the records, the 45th Artillery Brigade and related units have basically completed preparations for tonight's fireworks display. In tonight's preliminary program, a series of cannons will be launched with real fireworks, different from the shots in the two previous training sessions.
According to the plan, at exactly 8:00 p.m., the ceremony of firing 21 cannons on the background of the Vietnamese National Anthem will be synchronized with the program of the preliminary parade and state-level parade at Ba Dinh Square.
Previously, on the evening of August 19, the fireworks display was transported by specialized vehicles from the 45th Artillery Brigade to My Dinh National Stadium, after nearly 1.5 hours of travel.

The official training process before the grand ceremony will be with the platoon, team and the entire Fireworks force combined with the Army and Information.
Performing the A80 mission, the Fireworks Ceremony Team has been practicing since mid-May. The Gunners spent more than 100 days of training with a frequency of 6 days a week with two night training sessions and a sports festival on weekends.
The intensity of training is dense but everyone tries their best, because firing 21 sets of cannons is both an honor and a responsibility, for some soldiers it may be the only time in their life.
During the peak days before the National Day, the fireworks display will be guarded 24/7 and organized daily training. People in the capital can visit and take photos with the fireworks display - an activity that attracts great attention from the public.
