On April 2, DIC Group Trade Union said that it is implementing a campaign among union members and workers to participate in the voluntary blood donation program in Vung Tau ward.
This is an activity organized by the DIC Group Trade Union in coordination with the Vung Tau Ward Red Cross Society, according to the motto "Sharing a drop of blood - Giving hope". In which, the DIC Group Trade Union will mobilize employees working in the enterprise; the Vung Tau Ward Red Cross Society will mobilize people in the area to respond and voluntarily participate in blood donation.
Blood donors need to ensure the following requirements: age from 18 to 60; weight from 45 kg or more; no medical history, blood pressure within normal limits. At the same time, the night before the blood donation day, sleep enough (from 6 hours or more), do not stay up late, do not drink alcohol. Before donating blood, you should eat light snacks (do not eat greasy food), do not use tea, coffee... and follow the instructions of medical staff.
After donating blood, blood donors rest on the spot for 15-20 minutes; continue to drink sugar tea, snack... When returning home, keep the collection site clean; do not overwork, do not work on high; do not drink alcohol; eat and rest fully.
Currently, the DIC Group Trade Union is preparing conditions on facilities to receive blood; as well as propagating and mobilizing blood donation; coordinating with the Vung Tau Ward Red Cross Society to receive blood donation registrations; preparing to serve in the voluntary blood donation work expected to take place on April 5.
