On March 24, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Nghe An province, directly the Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghia Dan commune, Nghia Tho, organized the 2026 voluntary blood donation program.
With the message "One drop of blood given - One life left behind", the program has attracted nearly 1,000 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, public employees, laborers, association members, union members, youth, armed forces and people to participate.

As a result, the Organizing Committee received 658 units of blood, exceeding the set target. This amount of blood will contribute to supplementing the reserve blood source, promptly serving emergency and treatment work at medical facilities.
According to a representative of the Organizing Committee, voluntary blood donation activities are not only of profound humanitarian significance but also show the spirit of mutual affection and responsibility of the community to society.
In the coming time, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society will continue to promote propaganda and mobilize voluntary blood donation, contributing to building an increasingly sustainable movement, meeting blood needs in emergency and treatment.
