According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, the trade unions of communes, wards and accommodation facilities are actively organizing the congress, evaluating the previous term and electing a new Executive Committee.
This activity aims at the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, implementing the motto Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development.
Regarding the time to organize the Congress, for commune and ward trade unions, it must be completed before October 31, and for grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions, and departmental trade unions, it must be completed before November 25.
The official congress time is not more than one session and is encouraged to be associated with the summary of trade union work in 2025.
The content of the congress includes: discussing, approving the summary report, determining the direction of the new term, giving comments on higher-level congress documents and amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
For merged and consolidated units: Announce the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Trade Union Inspection Committee (if any) for the new term and key positions; decide to appoint delegates to the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union (if any).
Regulations on the number of trade unions with less than 200 union members, holding a general congress; from 200 union members or more holding a delegation congress (no more than 150 delegates, where there are over 5,000 union members, no more than 200 delegates).
