In recent years, Vinh Long has identified social housing and trade union institutions as key goals to ensure accommodation for workers, low-income laborers and disadvantaged families.
In fact, the implementation of projects is in the process of completing legal procedures and infrastructure, there needs to be a coordinated solution to put them into use soon, ensuring social security and improving investment efficiency.
Mr. Duong Van Phuc - Director of Vinh Long Department of Construction - said that the Trade Union Institution Project in Hoa Phu Industrial Park with an area of 4.0941 hectares, invested by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, is completing the master plan and preparing for further implementation steps.
The Binh Minh Industrial Park Social Housing Project has 987 apartments, with a total investment of 377 billion VND, serving the housing needs of workers, and is completing legal procedures.
Projects such as Trade Union institutions in Hoa Phu Industrial Park Resettlement Area, Binh Minh Industrial Park Social Housing Area are completing procedures, adjusting planning, product consumption plan, number of apartments and total investment.
" Strengthening coordination between departments, branches and investors will help projects be implemented soon, meeting the practical needs of workers and people, while improving the quality of infrastructure in industrial parks and urban areas" Mr. Phuc added.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee - said that in order to achieve the goal of social housing and trade union institutions, it is necessary to strengthen close coordination between departments, branches, localities and investors, while promptly handling problems related to planning, finance and legal procedures.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that early implementation of projects is an urgent task, both ensuring social security and promoting sustainable socio-economic development of the province.
According to Ms. Yen, the completion and use of social housing projects and trade union institutions not only meets the urgent need for housing for workers and people, but also measures the management, operation capacity and investment efficiency of the locality.
"This contributes to improving the lives of workers, stabilizing the workforce and attracting investment, thereby creating momentum for sustainable development for Vinh Long," Ms. Yen added.
