According to a report from the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF), from September 29 to October 3, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized many key activities.
Notably, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Trade Union Social Housing Project in Giao Long commune marked an important step forward in developing housing for workers.
The project is invested by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with a budget of more than 554 billion VND, expected to be completed in March 2027. This project is also a highlight to celebrate the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Union member development work continues to be focused on: 65 new union members were admitted, 03 newly established grassroots unions, and 07 grassroots unions were renamed and 03 grassroots unions were merged.
The work of caring for workers is taking place enthusiastically. The Trade Union of Ty Xuan Company Limited supported union members with serious illnesses with more than 83 million VND. On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Trade Unions presented 16,343 gifts to the children of workers and laborers, with a total value of over 3.4 billion VND.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor has completed financial reward, inspection and supervision procedures at 09 grassroots trade unions and issued many important documents to serve trade union activities.
