" Glory of Vietnam" has discovered, spread and encouraged good values in social life
Speaking at the " Glory of Vietnam 2025" Program, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department - emphasized the spirit of patriotism, aspiration to contribute and the strength of the Vietnamese people.
He also affirmed that the " Glory of Vietnam" Program has discovered, spread and encouraged good values in social life, fostered trust, nurtured the desire to contribute to the cause of building, developing and defending the Fatherland of Vietnam.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia sent his best wishes to delegates, comrades, compatriots, soldiers and people nationwide; and expressed his deep gratitude and admiration for the collectives and individuals honored in today's program.
"These are the most authentic and vivid representations of revolutionary heroism in the new era; of the indomitable Vietnamese spirit, the will to fight against hardship and challenges; are vivid evidence of the aspiration to rise up, of the mindset of "each person for everyone" always flowing in every Vietnamese citizen" - Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia mentioned 2025 as a year of special significance, associated with many important political events: the 95th Anniversary of the Party's Founding (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 100th Anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press (June 21, 1975 - June 21, 2025).
"These events have lit up a strong wave of patriotism, especially among the younger generation, affirming the flow of faith, justice and the light of truth," said the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, 2025 is also a pivotal year, the entire Party, people, army and political system are determined to implement strategic policies, organize Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, opening a new era of development for a peaceful, independent, democratic, rich, prosperous and civilized Vietnam.
In that context, the theme of this year's program - "Pride and Aspiration" - is not only a message but a call, an order from the heart, to foster will, to light the fire of hope and arouse the cultural strength and people of Vietnam to reach the times.
History has proven that that strength comes from the compassion, tolerance and silent sacrifice of simple but extraordinary people: Soldiers at the border, teachers sowing letters in the highlands, workers sticking to the machines, doctors staying up all night for life, businessmen bringing Vietnamese intelligence to the great ocean... They are the quiet stars that shine, creating the soft power and sacred inspiration of the nation.
Continue to spread good values, so that each collective, family, and individual becomes a "little flame" to light up patriotism
The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department said that " Glory of Vietnam" is not only a ceremony to honor but also an opportunity to spread trust and love for the Fatherland; affirming that everyone is good, good deeds deserve praise; every good action has the value of building an increasingly prosperous and happy country.
We are moved by tearful and proud stories. There are people who overcome adversity and steadfastly rise up; there are people who spend their whole lives silently serving without any profit; there are people with disabilities but do not lose the desire to live and contribute. That is the spirit of Vietnam: patriotism, solidarity, self-reliance, affection, honesty, responsibility and creativity - Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized.
From that spirit, he called on Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, organizations and media agencies to continue spreading good values, so that each collective, family and individual becomes a "little flame" to light the spirit of patriotism, innovation, creativity and integration.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia also highly appreciated the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Lao Dong Newspaper and accompanying units for organizing programs rich in humanity, art and profound propaganda value. He affirmed that the program is a testament to the effectiveness of coordination between agencies in the political system.
We deeply believe that, from todays beautiful flowers, from noble actions in daily life, from the aspiration to rise up in the midst of hardship, we will contribute to spreading millions of good actions, millions of patriotic hearts, so that every Vietnamese person can see themselves as part of the journey to create the future - Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized.
