On the morning of July 28, the name of Labor Hero Vu Huu Le - Director of Hong Ha Mechanical and Construction Co., Ltd. was announced in the Vinh Quang Vietnam 2026 Program.
When hearing the introduction about him: "At the age of over 90, he still maintains the flame of passion, constantly improving dozens of types of machinery, bringing practical efficiency", the whole hall could not help but admire.
Over 90 years old, Mr. Le still maintains his demeanor and lucidity. He takes steady steps on stage, receiving flowers and certificates of honor in the admiration of those present at the program.
Being honored at the 2026 Vietnam Glory Program, Mr. Le said that this recognition not only adds motivation for him to continue working and contributing, but is also a common joy for all officials and workers in the enterprise.
Mr. Le is a typical example of the creative labor movement in agriculture and rural mechanics. Starting from a small mechanical workshop in Lao Cai, he researched and improved dozens of types of machinery serving agricultural production, helping farmers reduce labor, increase productivity and save costs. His inventions are widely applied in many northern mountainous provinces, especially in agricultural product processing, soil preparation and construction materials production.
At the age of over 90, he continues to research and improve machinery with a constant creative spirit. In the past nearly 30 years, many of his inventions have helped thousands of farming households improve production efficiency, increase income and access agricultural mechanization. He is called "farmers' inventor" by the people because the equipment all originates from practical needs, low cost and suitable for highland conditions.
In the period 2023 - 2025, despite his old age, he still participated in technical advice, supported machinery improvement for local production facilities and continued to inspire creativity for the younger generation.
Speaking about his feelings when being honored at the Vinh quang Vietnam Program, Mr. Le said that every encouragement and recognition is meaningful in adding spiritual strength, helping him to rise up resiliently and continue to contribute.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the program has spread stories and typical examples to the general public to ignite the flame of faith, in any position, everyone can shine, creating useful contribution values for society and the country.
With 53 nominations, the Selection Council carefully discussed based on actual achievements, depth of contribution, sustainability and spillover effect, thereby selecting 8 typical and outstanding collectives and 5 individuals to be honored in the program.

In his speech at the 2026 Vietnam Glory Program, Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc repeatedly emphasized the two words "contribution".
According to the Standing Deputy Prime Minister, each collective and each individual has a different journey, a different field of activity and a different way of contributing, but they have a common point of contact: patriotism, sense of responsibility, aspiration to rise up and persistence in pursuing values beneficial to the community.
There are contributions measured by works, products, and initiatives; but there are also silent contributions nurtured over the years by intelligence, bravery, dedication and spirit of service, to create daily changes in life, solid progress of the community and increasingly strong development of the country.
