On May 14, information from the Thanh Chuong District Labor Federation (Nghe An) said that it is coordinating with the District Department of Internal Affairs to conduct an inspection and verification of information that Fanning Garment Export Company Limited was accused of " addition to the loss of money to workers' salaries".
Previously, social networks spread the image that was said to be an internal salary table for workers, showing that each person was "intermittently" deducted nearly 3 million VND from the April salary, to " sharing the loss" of 350 million VND of the company.
According to the content of the internal exchange, 117 workers were divided equally the losses, each person more than 2.9 million VND, the company supported 80%, the rest was deducted from their salary.
Ms. N.T.T. a worker who has quit his job reflected: I work 17 days in April, with overtime on Sundays. When I received my salary, it was only over 1 million VND, because I had nearly 3 million deducted for the reason of 'interim payment', while I had not advanced any money. According to Ms. T., not only herself but nearly 50 retired workers have also suffered similar deductions, while those who are still working continue to suffer a deduction of more than 500,000 VND/person.

On the same afternoon, some workers went to the company headquarters in Thanh Thinh commune (Thanh Chuong district) to request clarification and a refund of the deducted amount.
Talking to PV Lao Dong newspaper, Mr. Le Thiet Hung - Chairman of Thanh Chuong District Labor Federation - said: "We worked directly at the company's headquarters. At that time, the leader was away, only working managers. According to the initial explanation, the company's accountant used the wrong term, causing the workers to misunderstand.
According to records, Fanning Company used to have more than 100 employees, but recently nearly half have resigned, partly due to changes in salary calculation and payment inadequacies. Currently, the authorities are continuing to clarify the incident.
