    Dong Nai - The Provincial People's Committee fined Hong Sheng Industrial Company Limited 180 million VND for 2 violations in the field of labor.

    On December 24, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province decided to sanction administrative violations in the field of labor against Hong Sheng Industrial Company Limited (Vietnam) headquartered in Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Binh Phuoc Ward, Dong Nai Province for 2 administrative violations.

    Behavior 1: In 2024, Hong Sheng Industrial Company Limited (Vietnam) mobilized 95 employees to work overtime hours exceeding the number of hours prescribed in Clause 2, Article 107 of the 2019 Labor Code (work overtime hours of over 200 hours/person/year).

    Behavior 2: Hong Sheng Industrial Company Limited (Vietnam) does not evaluate and classify workers according to working conditions for arduous, toxic, dangerous and especially arduous, toxic, dangerous jobs to implement the regime for employees as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 22 of the Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene 2015.

    The total amount of administrative fines for acts 1 and 2 is 180 million VND.
