In the atmosphere of the whole country competing to achieve success to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress, towards successfully implementing the Resolution of the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 21st Provincial Trade Union Congress, Thanh Hoa trade union levels have widely, synchronously and effectively deployed activities to care for Tet Nguyen Dan 2026 for union members and workers with the consistent spirit: "All union members and workers have Tet".
This is not only an annual activity but also an important political task, clearly demonstrating the role of the trade union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; and at the same time contributing to maintaining political and social stability, consolidating the belief of the working class in the Party's leadership in the new development stage.

Proactive from early on, from the grassroots level
Implementing the Directive of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee on organizing the Lunar New Year; the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation has issued a plan to take care of Tet right from the fourth quarter of 2025.
Trade union levels are required to firmly grasp the production and business situation of enterprises; closely monitor the payment of salaries and bonuses; proactively participate in dialogue and collective bargaining; promptly detect and handle issues arising in labor relations, not allowing the formation of "hot spots" before, during and after the 14th Party Congress and the 2026 Lunar New Year.
With the motto "towards the grassroots level, for union members and workers", trade unions at all levels have proactively advised Party committees, closely coordinated with the government, police forces, functional sectors and employers to strengthen propaganda, mobilization, and promptly resolve legitimate and lawful petitions of workers; ensuring security and order, production safety and the lives of union members and workers during Tet.
100% of enterprises with trade union organizations have developed salary adjustment plans according to Decree No. 293/2025/ND-CP of the Government; salary and bonus payments are carried out in accordance with regulations, publicly and transparently. Thanks to that, the labor relations situation in the province has been maintained stably, and there have been no illegal collective strikes or work stoppages during the peak period before Tet.

Spreading "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party
The highlight in this year's Tet care work is the series of activities "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" organized synchronously and widely throughout the province, creating a warm and exciting atmosphere among a large number of union members and workers. The programs are implemented solemnly, practically, economically, and strongly towards the grassroots level; in which priority is given to workers in difficult circumstances, workers far from home, workers who have had labor accidents, occupational diseases, and people who have had their working hours reduced or lost their jobs.
Not stopping at focused programs, trade union levels also proactively coordinate to organize visits and encourage workers at boarding houses and worker housing areas; taking care of workers working during Tet according to the provisions of law. The gifts given directly not only carry material value but also contain feelings and sharing, thereby clearly showing the role of the trade union organization as a reliable bridge between the Party and the State and workers.
Along with that, the work of serving delegations of Party and State leaders, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and leaders of central agencies to visit, wish Tet, and give gifts to union members and workers was carefully and solemnly prepared, creating a deep impression and spreading the message of the Party and State's concern and care for the working class.

Affirming the central role of workers
In the context of many economic difficulties, volatile markets, and increasingly high requirements for restructuring and digital transformation, Tet care is identified by trade union levels as closely linked to the task of building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. This is not only a simple social security activity but also a solution to contribute to consolidating trust and creating consensus between workers and businesses.
Accordingly, trade unions at all levels have strengthened the supervision of the implementation of labor laws, social insurance, and occupational safety and health; proactively participated in resolving disputes right from the grassroots level; and at the same time promoted propaganda and mobilized union members to comply with the law and raise labor discipline awareness. This synchronous and timely involvement has made an important contribution to maintaining the stability of production and business situation before and after Tet; workers return to work on time; there is no situation of collective leave after Tet - a key factor ensuring a safe and stable investment and business environment in the province.
Looking back at the work of caring for the 2026 Lunar New Year, it can be affirmed that: Thanh Hoa trade union levels have well promoted their representative role, being a reliable support for union members and workers; and at the same time clearly shown the spirit of innovation, responsibility, and drastic action in the spirit of the 14th Party Congress in arousing the aspiration to develop the nation.
With Thanh Hoa Trade Union, that aspiration is concretized by the goal of building the image of a modern worker: having knowledge, having skills, having discipline, having social responsibility and having firm political belief. Trade union levels in the province have been and are widely promoting the "5 pioneers, 5 companions" emulation movement, through which each union member and worker is not only the object of care but also becomes the subject of innovation, directly contributing to the competitiveness of enterprises and the rapid and sustainable development of the province.
From innovation to building corporate culture; from international integration to community activities; from building strong Trade Union organizations to comprehensively caring for workers' lives - all form a unified and consistent action program, clearly showing the pioneering role of Thanh Hoa Trade Union in realizing the spirit of the 14th Congress.
The overall activities are vivid proof of the realization of the spirit of "Turning aspiration into action - Turning action into result - Turning result into belief - Having belief to create change" of General Secretary To Lam; and at the same time affirm the political determination and social responsibility of the trade union organization in the new period.
Entering 2026 - the first year of implementing socio-economic development goals in the new stage, Thanh Hoa Trade Union continues to identify key tasks as innovating the content and methods of operation; improving the quality of collective bargaining; promoting patriotic emulation movements among workers; contributing to building a strong and modern worker contingent in the province, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development.
