Warming hearts with meaningful Tet gifts
On February 3, the Trade Union of Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province to visit and present Tet gifts to households in particularly difficult circumstances.
In Nam Nha Trang ward, the working delegation visited the family of Mr. Le Van Rang (67 years old). Mr. Rang is seriously ill, lying in one place, his wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy Huong (63 years old), goes to collect scrap every day to support her husband. The whole family is living in a temporary house on land borrowed from relatives.

Receiving a Tet gift worth 2 million VND and essential necessities, Ms. Huong emotionally shared: "Due to difficult circumstances, Tet is approaching, but my family has not prepared anything. This gift helps my husband and I have more joy and welcome a warmer Tet.
On the same day, the delegation presented gifts to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Ai (87 years old, Phuoc Thuy residential group, Nam Nha Trang ward). Ms. Ai is blind, lives with her daughter, Ms. Dang Ngoc Dung (48 years old) and two young grandchildren.
The family does not have stable jobs, and the income mainly depends on social allowances. Ms. Dung's son, Pham Tien Dat (19 years old), suffers from congenital pectoral depression but does not have the conditions for surgery.
Sharing difficulties with the family, the working delegation presented 2 million VND and Tet gifts, contributing to helping the family have more funds to welcome the new Spring.
In Suoi Hiep commune, the program presented 200 Tet gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to people in particularly difficult circumstances.


Mr. Vo Dinh Cao Minh Tho - Vice Chairman of Suoi Hiep Commune People's Committee said that in 2025, the locality will be heavily affected by the historic flood that completely collapsed 7 houses.
Thanks to the support of the police, military and philanthropists, households have new houses in time for Tet.
Specifically for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, Petrovietnam's "Spring of Connection - Tet of Affection" program handed over 200 valuable gifts, contributing to bringing a warm and prosperous spring to the people in the first year Suoi Hiep commune operated after the merger.
Tet gifts to people in nuclear power planning areas
In the afternoon of the same day, in Vinh Hai commune, the program presented 50 Tet gifts to poor households, each worth 2 million VND.
Ms. Pham Thi Cuc (Thai An village) shared: "My two sisters and I live dependent on each other, my younger brother has been mentally ill for many years. This gift is a great source of encouragement for us to celebrate Tet more fully.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Hai commune, the whole commune currently has 96 poor households and 261 near-poor households. Petrovietnam's timely support has contributed to helping the locality take care of people's lives.
Vinh Hai commune is the construction site of Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Plant 2, invested by Petrovietnam. Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Petrovietnam Trade Union said that after 50 gifts have been presented, the program will continue to support 250 Tet gifts for people in difficult circumstances in the commune during the Binh Ngo Tet 2026.

Mr. Tuan shared that 2026 is the first year the Group simultaneously implements the program "Petrovietnam: Connected Spring - Tet of Affection" in 34 provinces and cities.
The total budget is more than 90 billion VND, equivalent to taking care of Tet for about 100,000 poor households, difficult households and policy families nationwide.
In Khanh Hoa alone, the program will allocate 1,000 Tet gifts and other social security activities with a total value of about 3.75 billion VND.
