Apple Intelligence will get more resources

Apple is expected to improve its position in artificial intelligence by 2025 through the launch of new chips and product models.

Apple has begun rolling out Apple Intelligence — its suite of artificial intelligence tools on new devices — and will gradually update it over the next few months through software updates.

Users will notice a number of new features and changes, starting with Siri in iOS 18.1, which is expected to launch in late October.

However, a Bloomberg report said some opinions suggest Apple is falling behind its competitors.

For example, Apple's internal reports say that ChatGPT answers questions about 25% more accurately than Siri. Additionally, ChatGPT is also able to answer about 30% more questions.

Once this gap is closed, Apple will focus on features like timely notifications, summarizing emails and long messages, along with partnering with ChatGPT to answer complex questions.

An enhanced version of Siri, new emoji creation capabilities, and Image Playground are expected to launch in early 2025.

Apple needs to do a lot to close the gap between itself and its competitors in 2025 and 2026. This will be done by hiring more engineers, acquiring companies with promising new technologies, and investing more resources in developing Apple Intelligence.
