Where to check subscribers on VNeID?
According to the Telecommunications Authority (Ministry of Science and Technology), people can check phone numbers that are in their name right on the VNeID application.
- After logging into the level 2 electronic identification account, users access the mobile subscriber information management section.
- Here, the system will display a list of phone numbers that have been synchronized and are currently in the account holder's name.
- Through this feature, people can know exactly how many subscribers they are named instead of just relying on the phone number they are using daily.
How to view the subscriber list?
- In the list displayed on VNeID, each subscriber number will be accompanied by a confirmation status.
- Users need to review all phone numbers appearing on the system and compare them with actual usage.
- If that phone number is being used frequently, people can confirm it according to the "Use" status.
- In case of detecting a phone number appearing on the VNeID account but not being used or not knowing who is using it, people should choose "Not to use". After that, the telecommunications enterprise will continue to carry out verification steps for the person currently using this subscriber number according to regulations.
The Telecommunications Authority recommends that people should not ignore strange phone numbers appearing on their accounts because this may be related to the rights and legal responsibilities of the subscriber's name.
How are "Use" and "Not Used" different?
According to current guidelines, confirming the subscriber status is very important.
When selecting "Use", the user confirms that the phone number is under management and is being used by them.
Conversely, when choosing "Not to use", users affirm that the phone number is not their right to use or is no longer used.
This confirmation information will be the basis for telecommunications enterprises to continue to review, verify and handle cases of non-genuine subscribers according to regulations.
