On June 21, the Ministry of Justice said that Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh chaired a working session with units on completing and operating the National Law Portal.
According to the report at the meeting, from May 31 to 8:00 a.m. on June 20, the National Law Portal had 188,400 visits; 56,021 questions answered by AI Law. The National Law Portal is operated stably, receiving the attention of agencies, organizations, people, and businesses.
Regarding infrastructure, since the opening of the National Law Portal, the infrastructure has ensured the Portal operates stably, data processing, data downloading is fast, no congestion, errors have been fixed, information security has been ensured.
Regarding the operation of the National Law Portal, the Department of Dissemination, Education of Law and Legal Assistance (PBGDPL&TGPL) has coordinated with specialized units to conduct the work of reviewing, scanning security vulnerabilities and implementing patchwork measures to ensure information security and network security for the Portal.
Vietnam Law Media Joint Stock Company has conducted AI Law training on the content of 28 decrees on decentralization, delegation of authority, and guiding legal documents. According to the agreement signed between the Department of PBGDPL&TGPL and its partners, Vietnam Law Communications Joint Stock Company commits to provide free 3,000 free accounts, each account can use a maximum of 120 questions.
The Department has sent documents to ministries, ministerial-level agencies, central socio-political organizations, provinces and centrally run cities and has currently compiled a list of 900 individuals who need to use AI Law.
In addition, the Department has discussed and issued documents requesting the Department of Judicial Assistance to determine criteria (if necessary) for assessment; organize the selection of legal practice organizations to participate in legal consultation in the Corporate Legal Support section of the National Law Portal.
Concluding the working session, Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized that in order to effectively operate the National Law Portal, the Department of PBGDPL&TGPL will preside over and coordinate with units to develop and promptly issue temporary regulations on management, operation and exploitation of the Portal; assigned Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Ngoc to consider and issue specific assigned decisions to units under the Ministry and related units in personnel arrangement, coordinate with the Department of PBGDPL&TGPL in completing and operating the Portal.
