The People's Committee of Da Nang City has issued Plan No. 24/KH-UBND on organizing "Da Nang Finance and Technology Week 2025". Accordingly, the event is expected to take place from August 28 to 30 in a direct and online combination.
Da Nang Finance and Technology Week 2025 is a forum connecting state agencies, experts, scientists, organizations, businesses, domestic and foreign investors to form and open up a space for discussion on bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the international community in the fields of finance and financial services, enhancing the position of the Vietnam International Financial Center in the Global Financial Center Ranking (GFCI); proposing mechanisms and policies for developing international financial centers in Vietnam.
At the same time, promote the application of blockchain technology to key economic sectors in Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular, such as finance, healthcare, education, logistics and state management; continue to give opinions to perfect the testing mechanism (sandbox) for digital assets and block chain technology; promote R&D linkages - experimental production - commercialization, enhance cooperation and technology transfer for high-tech projects, especially in the fields of advanced packaging and fiber optic chips.
Along with that. Promote the potential, advantages, and opportunities for cooperation and investment in Vietnam in general and Da Nang city in particular in the fields of international financial centers, blockchain technology, semiconductor microchips; connect financial pillars, blockchain and semiconductor microchips in a series of integrated events, enhance communication efficiency, optimize organizational resources, and build the Da Nang brand - a new center of international finance, innovation and core technology in Vietnam and the region.
The series of events include: Vietnam Annual Financial Forum 2025 on August; Vietnam Blockchain Festival 2025 on August; Da Nang Semiconductor Day 2025 on August 30.
In addition, a number of sideline activities are organized: Reception and working sessions of city leaders with businesses and investors; field surveys; exhibition of project images/ities, training facilities, introduction of solutions, financial products, blockchain, chip technology, semiconductor microchips, electronics... city information exhibition; job fair program, connection to recruit human resource needs in the semiconductor and electronics industry.
