Da Nang - Da Nang City is striving to expand its network of links with experts and investors to build a semiconductor microchip ecosystem in the locality.

Within the framework of the 2026 Economic - Financial and Technology Week, on the afternoon of July 10, the Da Nang City Department of Science and Technology coordinated to organize the Workshop "Semi-conductors and High Technology Da Nang 2026".

The workshop is a specific step of Da Nang to realize the specific mechanisms and policies issued by the National Assembly in Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 and Resolution No. 259/2025/QH15. The city's orientation is to focus on building a microchip and high-tech ecosystem in a synchronous and modern direction, strengthening close links between the State, schools and businesses.

Mr. Ho Quang Buu - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee - emphasized: "The microchip and high-tech industry today is not only the core of the fourth industrial revolution, but also a launching pad to improve the national competitiveness of each locality.

At the same time, Mr. Ho Quang Buu also affirmed the city's long-term priority policy: "Da Nang identifies the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as the top important breakthrough, the main driving force in the socio-economic development of the city." Through this, the city expressed its desire to seek cooperation opportunities and promote specific investment projects right from this event.
