Network security is identified as one of the important tasks of each country, organization and individual in the digital age. However, for a long time, this topic has always been labeled dry and difficult to understand. Network security training content is also therefore difficult to receive attention from the community.
Understanding this, VinCSS Network Security Services Joint Stock Company has just launched an online course "Opening up when opening the network", using cartoons and poetry to raise awareness about network security for people. All subjects from individuals, office workers to businesses who want to train personnel can participate in the course.
The program focuses on real-life situations often encountered in digital life, from which learners quickly identify common scams such as fake emails, scam calls, tricks to exploit human vulnerabilities or common malware. The inherently dry network security knowledge is simulated through short films, aimed at specific examples and useful "tips" to protect personal information, devices and organizational data.
With a total duration of only 1 hour, the content is optimized to suit a busy schedule but still ensure high efficiency. Students will be instructed on how to set up a strong password, use a passkey (a form of authentication that does not require a password to replace traditional passwords), security when working remotely and basic initial response procedures when detecting security incidents...
For individuals, the course helps reduce the risk of information theft and online scams; for office workers, the course enhances awareness and reduces errors that harm security for businesses; for leaders and human resources departments, this is an effective tool to build a digital safety culture and minimize incident costs.
According to a survey by the National Cyber Security Association (NCA), with the participation of 60,300 individual users nationwide, online fraud in 2025 has decreased significantly compared to 2024. Specifically, about 555 users participating in the survey, 1 person said they were victims of fraud, equivalent to a rate of 0.18%. Meanwhile, in 2024, this number is about 220 people, 1 person was scammed, a rate of 0.45%. This shows that the awareness of network security of Vietnamese people has improved significantly compared to before.
