The Galaxy S25 series recently launched by Samsung brings many outstanding tools in artificial intelligence, upgraded processing chip and beautiful design.
However, there are many improvements that Samsung modestly did not mention during the event, including a significantly upgraded speaker system on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and especially the battery health display feature that users have long awaited.
With Android 14, Google started supporting detailed battery health monitoring but Samsung did not integrate this on One UI 6. Now, the company has implemented this feature on One UI 7 and the Galaxy S25 series.
All three flagship models including Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus are capable of displaying the following battery information: Battery health status (in percentage); Number of charge cycles; Battery manufacturing date; Date of first battery use.
However, the feature doesn't seem to have been rolled out across all Galaxy S25 devices yet. Some phones have it, while others don't, possibly because they haven't received the necessary software update.
Additionally, it is also possible that this feature may only be available in certain countries or regions.
With detailed battery health display, Galaxy S25 not only helps users better control device life but also brings transparency that has not been available on Galaxy phones or even iPhones before.
Information such as the number of charge cycles and the date the battery was first used will help users better understand how they use their devices, thereby adjusting their habits to extend battery life.
