Google upgrades image search engine, adds AI to create images right in search results

    Google has just refreshed the Google Images service after many years of operation with a refined interface and personalized search results in real time.

    Google has just announced the upgraded Google Images interface. Although the new interface does not change much in terms of design, Google said that search results will be updated in real time and personalized based on each user's preferences.

    Users can still save photos to collections by opening photos, pressing the three-dot icon and selecting save. After saving, the collections will appear as tabs above the photo library, making it easy to go back and continue searching for similar images.

    In addition, in the coming weeks, Google will also add the ability to create photos using text commands right in Google Search. The company integrates the AI Nano Banana image creation model into AI Overviews, allowing users to create photos without leaving the search result page.

    The renewal of Google Images shows that Google is continuing to promote AI integration into search engines, not only helping users find content faster but also turning Search into a place to create content instantly. This is also the next step in the competition between AI-integrated search platforms.
