Google launches new desktop application for Windows, taking artificial intelligence as the center of experience.

Google has just introduced a new application for Windows computers, in which artificial intelligence is placed at the center. This application is aimed at people who regularly use the Google Gemini chatbot, bringing a simpler and more integrated experience on Microsoft's operating system.

After installation, users can quickly open the search bar using the Alt + Space key combination. Here, the queries not only perform web searches as usual, but are also supported by AI mode to deepen information, answer the next question or expand content according to context.

The noteworthy point is that the application is not limited to online search. It can access data from files on the computer, installed applications, or even documents stored on Google Drive. In addition, the screen sharing feature allows users to use Google Lens to search for information from content displayed directly on the screen.

The application is currently released globally in English. Notably, Google is not limited to the latest version of Windows 11, but only requires devices running Windows 10 or higher.
