AI Overviews - a feature of Google Search that provides an AI summary of available search results - has more than 2 billion users/month in the world.

This is the latest figure shared by Google CEO Sundar Pichai at a recent meeting with investors. Accordingly, AI Overviews, a new feature of Google Search, using artificial intelligence to create concise, concise information summaries right on the search results page (SERP), has more than 2 billion users/month in over 200 countries and territories around the world.

This figure increased from 1.5 billion users/month in May 2025. In addition, Google's Gemini app has increased to 450 million monthly active users.

Meanwhile, AI Mode - a way to use Google Search through AI chatting experience to get more in-depth answers - has had more than 100 million monthly active users, Pichai said.

The service is now available in the US and recently in India, but is still in the process of being rolled out more widely. The CEO also said that this experience will be upgraded in the near future with the addition of advanced research tools, in-depth searches, and more personalized responses.

In addition, Google also recorded more than 70 million videos produced using the AI Veo 3 model since May 2025. Google Vids, a feature provided by Veo to create videos using AI to convert text into videos in Google Workspace, currently has nearly 1 million monthly active users.

The company also said that in Google Meet, more than 50 million people have used AI-powered meeting notes in Google Meet.

The integration of AI has brought positive business results to Google. In the second quarter of 2025, Google's advertising revenue increased by 10.4% year-on-year to 71.3 billion USD, exceeding analysts' expectations.

CEO Sundar Pichai said that AI is "positively impacting every aspect of businesses", while emphasizing new AI-enabled features such as AI Overviews and AI Mode to enhance user engagement.

In the second quarter of this year, Alphabet's total revenue increased by 14% to 96.4 billion USD compared to the same period in 2024, exceeding market forecasts. Net profit increased by more than 19% to 28.2 billion USD.
