This application allows opening the search bar using the alt + Space keystroke combination, thereby immediately accessing the file on the device, the installed application, data on Google Drive and the web.
The search bar works similar to spotlight on Macs, supporting everything finding on the device and online. The app is now available in the Search Labs program - Google's testing platform, where users experience early and send feedback before the feature is widely rolled out.
Google said that the application has Google Lens built in, allowing you to scan the screen to quickly translate images or text, supporting clearing and many other tasks. In addition, users can experience AI cases, where the search engine processes complex queries and provides more detailed responses.
The application also supports converting between many types of results such as image, shopping, video, and dark mode. Currently, the application is only available in English and requires computers running Windows 10 or higher in the US market.
