One-way locked subscribers can still reopen
According to the current roadmap, one-way locking is only the first step to require users to confirm their subscriber status.
Affected subscribers can still receive incoming calls and messages. Immediately after completing information confirmation or verification according to regulations, the service will be restored without waiting for further processing milestones.
Network operators continue to maintain support
After June 15, Viettel, VinaPhone and telecommunications businesses will still maintain customer support systems through online applications, transaction points and mobile support teams.
Many businesses said they will continue to increase manpower in the early days after applying one-way lock measures because the number of customers coming to check in is expected to remain high.
After 60 days, further processing will be carried out
According to regulations, one-way locked subscribers will have an additional 60 days to complete confirmation. If this deadline is still not fulfilled, the subscriber will be two-way locked.
After 5 days from the time of two-way locking but still not completing authentication, the subscriber number may be revoked according to regulations.
What should people do when their subscribers are blocked in one direction?
According to telecommunications businesses, when detecting that they cannot make calls or send SMS messages, users should check the notifications from the network operator or look up subscriber information on VNeID to determine the cause.
For cases that are required to confirm or authenticate information, customers can do it online through the network operator's application or VNeID if they already have a level 2 electronic identification account.
In case it is not possible to perform online or situations such as changing subscribers, transferring usage rights, updating personal papers arise, users should go to the nearest transaction point for direct support.
