On October 29, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province coordinated with the National Data Association to organize a Forum on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation with the theme " date economy, promoting innovation and sustainable development".
The forum attracted more than 500 delegates who are leaders of central ministries and branches; representatives of provinces in the Red River Delta; technology corporations, research institutes, universities, investment funds and local business communities. This is the first provincial-level event to pioneer Hung Yen's comprehensive digital transformation strategy in the new development stage.
In the context of implementing the Data Law 2024 and Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Hung Yen identifies the data economy as a key pillar to promote green growth, innovation and sustainable development. At the forum, the Provincial People's Committee announced the "Hung Yen Provincial Data Architecture", signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation with the National Data Association and demonstrated 5 key data platforms to serve local economic management and development.

The program took place in two working sessions. The conference focused on announcing data architecture, demonstrating digital platforms and in-depth presentations on data governance, exploitation and application in the socio-economy. Many topics of interest include " scope of digitalization of agriculture on ESG platform", " date safety and digital economic development", " date management for data management". Notably, the Provincial People's Committee launched the Hung Yen Provincial virtual Assistant platform, initiating the application of digital technology in government management and operation.
The afternoon session was a seminar on "Innovation in the data economy", revolving around the topics: "Innovative startups in the digital economy", "Vocational investment - leverage for the Vietnamese data economy", "The role of intellectual property protection in startups", and proposing the Startup Hung Yen incubation program.
In parallel with the conference, the hall of the Provincial Convention Center will host the exhibition "Digital Experience" with the exhibition areas " Data for the Community", "Digital Agriculture", "Smart Tourism", "Digital Assistant" and "Data for Green Growth", allowing people and businesses to directly experience new technology applications.

Speaking at the opening of the forum, Mr. Pham Van Nghiem - Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee affirmed that developing the data economy is not only an inevitable trend but also a key driving force to help localities improve labor productivity, competitiveness, promote growth model innovation and more effective governance.
Mr. Nghiem emphasized that in recent years, Hung Yen has achieved many comprehensive results in all fields, especially maintaining a high growth rate in the economy, a shifting structure in the right direction, synchronously invested infrastructure, guaranteed social security, and strong national defense and security.
After merging administrative boundaries, the province quickly streamlined the entire apparatus to be more efficient and efficient, creating a solid foundation for the new development stage. By 2045, Hung Yen strives to become a smart, ecological city, directly under the Central Government, an industrial, commercial, service and logistics center of the region.
