On October 30, the People's Committee of Son La province issued Decision 2699 on transferring 75 commune and ward health stations and 125 health stations from regional health centers under the Department of Health to the People's Commune-level Management.
The implementation period is from November 1, 2025.
The People's Committee of Son La province assigned the Department of Health to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of communes and wards to complete the procedures for handing over the health station to the People's Committees at the commune level according to regulations.
Including facilities, equipment, finance, assets, records, documents; team of village health workers, residential groups; population collaborators... and other documents related to the operation of health stations.
The Department of Home Affairs will adjust the payroll and transfer civil servants; the Department of Finance will guide the allocation and adjustment of budget estimates according to regulations.
The People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for completing the organizational structure, regulating the functions and tasks of health stations; ensuring the maintenance of payment for village health workers and population collaborators.
