At around 5:00 p.m. on October 20 (Vietnam time), Amazon's application chain was fixed a few hours after the problem. Previously, at around 2.11, coach's monitoring system recorded many services having operational problems. This incident also affected many other markets worldwide.
AWSs disruption seems to be affecting other cloud platforms such as Perplexity, Airtable, Snapchat, etc. According to data from Downdetector, the number of error reports from dozens of platforms has increased dramatically at the same time, most of them using Amazons cloud infrastructure.
Services that are experiencing problems according to Down detector's statistics are: Snapchat, Ring, Roblox, Clash Royale, Life360, My Fitness Pal, Xero, Canva, Amazon, Amazon Web Services, Amazon Music, Prime Video, Clash of Clans, Fortnite, Wordle, Duolingo, Coinbase, HMRC, Vodafone, Play station, Pokemon Go.

Recognizing the above incident, coaches also quickly confirmed the issue: "The incident began to be recorded in the US area - EAST-1 at 7:11 (14:41 Vietnam time). However, the cause is still being determined.
Similarly, according to the display status, the Canva platform recorded the 503 server error - an issue that often occurs when the system is overloaded or requires sudden maintenance. Many Canva users have reported that they cannot work with the platform. Accordingly, users can still log in to the platform but continuously receive notifications: "Changes not to save designs", "Overloaded pages"... This incident occurs on both free and Pro accounts.

The above situation affects many students or those with jobs who need to use the above applications. Thu Nhi (18 years old, Hanoi) expressed her concern: "I was editing a slide for tomorrow's presentation when I suddenly encountered an error that could not be accessed. At first, I thought it was due to a problem with my machine, but it turned out to be a common problem. This greatly affects the progress of the group's work."
By 6pm today, Amazon's app chain began to be fixed by the team.
An Amazon representative said: "Most of the disrupted websites and apps are back up, and the problem is being fundamentally fixed despite possible delays." For example, the Canva app can download photos, but cannot update video formats.

Ngoc Ha - a student at the University of Economics, VNU-HHN said: "I encountered an incident while preparing to present in class. Fortunately, the problem has been fixed so that we can continue the presentation".
coaches' team said they will continue to update the cause of the problem as soon as possible.
