On December 20, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province organized the Khanh Hoa Digital Technology Festival in 2025, creating a space for people and tourists to directly experience digital technology products and solutions, including many applications of artificial intelligence (AI).
The festival takes place on December 20 and 21, in response to National Digital Transformation Day, and at the same time commemorates the one year of issuing the Politburo's Resolution on the development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
With the theme "All-people, comprehensive, all-process digital transformation to accelerate and make a breakthrough in digital economic development", the event aims to introduce digital technology solutions, raise awareness and digital skills for people, and at the same time create a forum to promote cooperation between state management agencies, businesses and training institutions in the province's digital transformation process.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that digital transformation is an important driving force to promote socio-economic development, contributing to improving local competitiveness in the new period.
The festival is an opportunity for people and tourists to access advanced technology products and solutions, thereby gradually popularizing digital technology skills among the entire population, said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha.
Within the framework of the program, the organizing committee arranged about 30 technology booths of departments, branches, businesses, schools and related organizations, along with a cashless payment area to serve people's practical experience.
The booths introduce many digital transformation models and solutions in fields such as digital government, culture - tourism, education - training, finance - banking, insurance, healthcare, information technology and software solutions.
Notably, people and tourists can also directly participate in virtual reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), 3D technology experiences, with content associated with tourism, exploring scenic spots, sports games, music and digital entertainment.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province also officially launched the "Digital education in the province" movement, aiming to popularize digital knowledge and skills, encourage people to apply digital technology to their daily lives, contributing to promoting the comprehensive and sustainable digital transformation process.
