On October 4, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a plan to improve the digital transformation assessment index (DTI) in 2025 and the following years.
The province aims to be in the Top 20 localities leading the country in digital transformation.
According to the plan, the province strives for the DTI index in 2025 to reach 800/1,000 points or more, with at least 4/8 main index groups in the top 10 provinces and cities nationwide.
Every year, Khanh Hoa's DTI index will increase by 1-2 places, aiming to be in the Top 10 leading localities in the country in digital transformation by 2030, in line with the target in Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU dated July 14, 2025 of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on double-digit economic growth for the period 2025 - 2030.
The plan identifies a number of fundamental, leading tasks that need to be implemented immediately, including: developing information technology infrastructure and digital infrastructure to serve digital transformation in the whole province; building the "Khanh Hoa Digital Citizen" application to serve the people.
Deploy the "Digital Workspace" platform to manage work, operate and evaluate efficiency (KPI) for provincial-level agencies, departments to 65 communes, wards and special zones.
Along with that, the province will promote the construction of a digital platform for the whole province, deploy smart urban management solutions, and form a digital ecosystem to serve people, businesses and state agencies.
In 2025, the plan requires key sectors and fields to promote synchronous digital transformation, especially:
Culture, sports and tourism (focused on digital tourism);
Agriculture and environment (focusing on land and environment);
Education and training;
Construction and traffic;
Smart healthcare, electronic medical records, digital health records;
Finance - banking, energy, logistics and industrial production.
The synchronous implementation of the above tasks and solutions is expected to create a breakthrough in the digital transformation of Khanh Hoa province, contributing to improving governance efficiency, competitiveness and service quality for people and businesses.
