On October 4, in Nha Trang, the Trade Union of HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS) held the opening ceremony of the HVS trade union training program in 2025.
The training program has nearly 130 people from the Executive Board of the grassroots trade union, heads of departmental trade unions in the entire HVS company participating.
Here, students are updated with specialized knowledge on the application of digital technology and AI in trade union activities.

In particular, there are outstanding contents such as: Overview of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI), benefits of digital transformation and AI in union activities, popular digital tools and practical applications, digital transformation practices in Vietnamese and international unions, basic instructions for students to apply.
Trainees are also allowed to do group exercises using the Deepseek application to analyze union member survey data (from Google form) and make recommendations for improving welfare.
Students also used the CapCut application to create short videos introducing outstanding union activities in the quarter, posting them on social networks; creating a video showing images with background music to summarize union activities in the year through the Proshow Producer application...

According to Mr. Le Van Toan - Chairman of the HVS grassroots union, 2025 marks a strong transformation of digital technology into the daily life of each union member and employee.
To promptly update digital technology knowledge, especially artificial intelligence (AI), the Executive Committee of HVS Trade Union organized the above study topic.
Along with theory, each student is given specific instructions to meet the requirements of activities in the new situation.

According to Mr. Toan, HVS currently has more than 5,000 employees. To build a solid foundation for union members, each union cadre must transform themselves.
Digital technology will greatly contribute to supporting union officials from the department to the grassroots to connect with union members faster and closer.
Through digital application channels, trade union activities are also conveyed promptly and effectively to union members and workers in the new context.
