According to the announcement, the March 2026 auction offers 50 ".vn" domain names with two characters. The auctions are held from March 18-20, 2026 in online format, implementing each domain name in turn.
On the first day, March 18, 18 domain names were put up for auction. The list includes many short domain names such as: ny. vn, 2k. vn, ok. vn, cj. vn, ha. vn, lp. vn, gc. vn, ex. vn, iu. vn, ez. vn, em. vn, ak. vn,... along with some other two-character domain names in the same group.
The auctions are arranged in consecutive hours of the day. Each domain name has a minimum auction duration of 20 minutes and is conducted by bidding on the online auction system.
According to regulations, the starting price of each domain name is 10,000,000 VND. The deposit is 1,000,000 VND for each domain name and the price step is 1,000,000 VND. Participants need to deposit before the prescribed deadline to be eligible to participate in the auction.
Two-character domain names are considered a finite number of digital resources in the national domain name system ".vn". Due to their concise and easy-to-remember structure, many domain names can be associated with brands, industries or popular trends in the Internet environment.
According to the organizing unit, the auction is implemented to effectively exploit national Internet resources and create opportunities for businesses, organizations and individuals to access valuable digital identities in business operations and build brands in the online environment.
The winning bidder will be granted the right to use the domain name according to legal regulations and can transfer the right to use the domain name according to current regulations.
