Apple is rumored to bring a new breeze to this year's iPhone line, with the highlight being the iPhone 17 Air model, a phone expected to converge in an ultra-thin design, titanium frame and outstanding performance.
Although it belongs to the non-Pro line, the iPhone 17 Air surprised many people when it could become the only iPhone model using this high-end material in 2025.
Some recent leaks revealed that the iPhone 17 Air will be equipped with a titanium- aluminum alloy frame, inheriting the design from the iPhone 15 Pro. Notably, while the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models are expected to return to using aluminum frames, the iPhone 17 Air continues to maintain a titanium frame, although the titanium ratio may be lower than the iPhone 16 Pro generation.
This raises the question: Is Apple gradually removing titanium from the Pro line to expand this material to other versions?
However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo ( TF International Securities Research Company) affirmed that titanium will continue to appear, at least this year, and the iPhone 17 Air is clear evidence.
downgrading the high-quality material that was once only available in the Pro line to a standard model could be a strategy to refresh Apple's product identification.
In terms of technical specifications, the iPhone 17 Air is said to have the thinnest design ever, only about 5.5mm.
Although light, the device still promises to have powerful performance thanks to the A19 and 12GB RAM chips. The regrettable drawback is that the battery will be smaller and only have a rear camera, which may make some photoshooting enthusiasts hesitant.
The device is expected to launch in four colors: black, silver, light yellow and light blue.
With a sophisticated design and impressive configuration, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to become Apple's outstanding choice this year.
All will be revealed when Apple officially announces the iPhone 17 series, where all eyes will be on the promising new Air model.
