The new generation autonomous security system called Perception is designed to deploy expert teams to support and automate various security procedures, including identifying and fixing vulnerabilities. This platform can also be integrated with MDASH.
Microsoft claims that MAI-Cyber-1-Flash is significantly more powerful and cost-saving than other competing models, based on its performance on a standard AI cybersecurity dataset that has been established.
Recognizing that hackers are increasingly using artificial intelligence (AI) in cyberattacks, Ms. Hayete Gallot - Vice President of Security at Microsoft - describes Perception as a way for business protectors to "fight AI with AI itself at the scale and speed that attackers possess".
Perception uses Red Teams, Blue Teams, and Green Teams. Among them, Red Teams can provide detailed simulations of potential attacks - providing a context of potential threats and vulnerabilities they can exploit. Blue Teams specialize in detecting and classifying existing vulnerabilities, while Green Teams perform "remedial actions" for those vulnerabilities.
