On the morning of July 28, functional forces in Ward 3 Bao Loc and Ward B'Lao (Lam Dong province) are urgently supporting people to cope with flooding caused by prolonged heavy rain.
According to records, heavy rain started from about 9 pm on July 27 and lasted continuously until the morning of July 28. Water from upstream flowing down the Dai Lao stream and Dai Binh river caused many low-lying areas to be heavily flooded.
In Bao Loc Ward 3, residential groups 3 and 16 are the most seriously affected areas. On the same night, the Ward People's Committee mobilized military forces, police, and youth union members to deploy rescue.
Lieutenant Colonel Bien Duc Long - Commander of the Military Command of Ward 3 Bao Loc - said that the unit has mobilized more than 20 officers and soldiers of the militia to support people.
By the morning of July 28, more than 70 households in the affected area, including nearly 10 households in deeply flooded areas, had been relocated with their property and livestock to safe places.
Currently, rain is still continuing, local authorities maintain forces on duty in areas at risk of flooding, flash floods and landslides to promptly rescue and ensure safety for people and property.
