Special gift on November 20: CT Group presents LAB UAVs to guide agricultural robots to Can Tho University

The gift CT Group sent to Can Tho University is not only a tribute to teachers, but also CT Group's passion to help future generations dream of technology reaching further.

More specifically, when UAV & Robot Agritech Innovation Lab was presented by CT Group to Can Tho University on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, also on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Arts (now the School of Technology, Can Tho University) and at the same time of the 7th ASEAN+3 Principals' Conference, held at Can Tho University for 2 days, November 19-20,

The 7th ASEAN+3 Principal Conference held at Can Tho University gathered more than 120 principals and leaders of universities in ASEAN and partners from China, Korea, and Japan to participate. This is a high-level academic forum with a wide influence in the region, creating open foreign space, aiming to solve common challenges of the ASEAN region in the context of globalization and strong digital transformation.

On this occasion, more than 120 Principals and leaders from universities and colleges in the ASEAN region... had the opportunity to visit and pay special attention to UAV & Robot Agritech Innovation Lab located at the Labor Complex (RLC) of Can Tho University.

UAV & Robot Agritech Innovation Lab quickly attracted the attention of the academic community and the technology world. For the first time in the Vietnamese education system, an in-depth research room on UAVs and agricultural robots has appeared, marking a strong step forward in applying high technology to training and research.

Not only the current teaching staff but also teachers who have been attached to Can Tho University for many generations expressed their joy and emotion. For teachers, the school's ownership of a professional - modern - practical lab with advanced equipment systems is something that they "dzed" to dream of, only seen through models or documents.

As the first person to lay the bricks for the school's high-tech training orientation, Dr. Duong Thai Cong - Former Principal of the University of Science and Technology (Can Tho University) emotionally said: "What I have always craved for is a real space for research and learning for lecturers and students, Can Tho University has done. On behalf of the school, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Group".

UAV & Robot Agritech Innovation Lab is not only a particularly meaningful November 20 gift, but also a big step forward for teachers to have more technology space to teach directly, bringing students closer to the most advanced technology today - Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Principal of the School of Technology (Can Tho University) said.

The unique and meaningful point of UAV & Robot Agritech Innovation Lab is the system of technology products researched and developed by Vietnamese people themselves, instead of simulating the theory or displaying imported technology models like traditional laboratories.

UAV & Robot Agritech Innovation Lab comes into operation as a concretization of the previously signed commitment between CT Group and Can Tho University at the scientific seminar program "National Digital copy - Breakthrough technology for smart agriculture in the Mekong Delta", held last September. In the next phase, CT UAVs(member of CT Group) will continue to invest in agricultural robots to integrate with UAVs on the same national digital copy platform NDT 15 (National Digital Twin 15) invented by CT Group itself.
