Since its announcement at Google I/O 2025, the AI video creation tool combined with Veo 3 audio has quickly attracted global attention. Although not officially supported in Vietnam, Veo 3 has created a domestic "fever" with many cheap accounts being advertised for sale. However, experts recommend that users wait for the official release to avoid risks.
During this time, users can try some alternative tools such as Google Veo 2, Kling and OpenAI Sora.
Google Veo 2
Veo 2 is considered the most valuable alternative to Veo 3 at the moment. This tool has excellent video quality, the characters look very real, the light and details like dust flying in the air are delicately expressed.
Veo 2 does not have the original sound like Veo 3, but in return, it has the ability to convert photos to videos - something that Veo 3 has not supported. In Vietnam, users can access Veo 2 through the Google AI Pro package for 489,000 VND/month (free for the first month), including many other services such as Gemini, NotebookLM and 2TB of storage.
Kling
Kling is a tool developed by Kuaishou (China), featuring sharp image quality and good command understanding. In the experiments, the living room scenery was beautifully built, but the character was somewhat strange and unnatural. Not supporting original sound is a clear limitation.
Kling offers 4 packages, from free to 64.99 USD/month. Higher packages will have additional incentives such as creating fast videos, no watermark, and early access to new features.
OpenAI Sora
Sora impressed with her beautiful and somewhat surreal image, but the character's movement and consistency were not really smooth. The storyboard feature helps arrange many scenes, creating the feeling of a short film.
Sora is integrated into the ChatGPT Plus (20 USD/month) and ChatGPT Pro (200 USD/month packages, allowing video creation with different resolutions and durations. Recently, Microsoft also brought this feature to the free Bing Search application on mobile devices, providing a more accessible option for Vietnamese users.
