Motivate the people
The digital route model is deployed with the aim of promoting digital transformation in residential areas; supporting people to access online public services as well as increasing the use of digital technology in building residential life.
The digital route model motivates people, especially business households, to access digital technology and modern payment methods, thereby changing consumption and transaction habits in the community.
Not only promoting digital payments, the digital route model also helps people register and use public services online, such as paying taxes, registering businesses or other administrative document transactions. This helps reduce waiting time and increase transparency in the process of handling procedures.
At the corner of Kinh Duong Vuong and Ho Tung Mau streets, there is a counter to guide people about digital transformation activities. At this point, people come here to perform public services such as making citizen identification cards, registering temporary residence, permanent residence... instead of having to go directly to the ward.
To help people access online public services as well as use utilities on digital platforms, the Community Digital Technology Team and Project 06 residential areas have consulted and supported people.
Ms. Tran Thi Minh Nguyet - Member of the Community Digital Technology Team and Project 06 of Hoa Phu 8 residential area said: "When the counter to guide people about digital transformation activities was opened, people were very happy and excited. People came here to ask us to perform public services such as temporary and permanent residence registration, and housing confirmation procedures.
When people come here, we also educate them about cyber security and raise awareness of protecting personal information when making online transactions."
100% transfer via QR code
An important criterion for building a digital route is that 100% of businesses, traders, commercial and service providers make payments via QR codes. After more than a month of implementing the digital route, all businesses have made payments by scanning QR codes proficiently.
If in the past, cash transactions were quite time-consuming, now people only need a few seconds to scan the QR code, the payment will be quick and accurate. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Le - Resident of residential group 82 (Hoa Minh ward) said:
"Before the digital route was deployed, people often made cash transactions, which took a lot of time. Now, with just a few simple steps, customers can easily pay without worrying about mistakes."
To implement the digital route, associations and people living along the route joined forces to clean up the environment. 30 public security cameras were installed along the entire route through socialization.
Currently, the locality has installed QR codes at a number of intersections to help residents and tourists easily find information related to the digital route. In particular, community groups play an important role in going to each house to mobilize people to participate in the implementation.
Talking to Lao Dong, Mr. Pham Ngoc Lanh - Vice Chairman of Hoa Minh Ward People's Committee said: "Route No. 1 stretches 1km, passing through 4 residential areas and 6 residential groups. To implement, Hoa Minh Ward People's Committee worked with residential areas and residential groups and set criteria.
The locality hopes that the model will motivate people, especially business households, to access digital technology and modern payment methods, thereby changing consumption and transaction habits in the community."
