According to a source provided by Gizchina, the leak revealed the chipset that the nothing Phone (2) will be equipped with. Alex Katouzian, who acts as senior vice president and manages general manager of Qualcomm's Mobile, Compute and XR units. According to him, the upcoming device will not have Qualcomm's most advanced chip.

On the professional networking platform Linkedin, Qualcomm's Senior Vice President congratulated nothing on the upcoming launch of Phone (2) . In his post, he clearly mentioned that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will power the device.
While current flagship models are launching with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, the all-new nothing Phone will be paired with the first-generation chipset.
Qualcomm's vice president later edited the post and wrote that nothing Phone (2) would be equipped with a "Snapdragon 8 series SoC".
However, nothing Phone (2) may not become one of the top Android phones this year.
But users should not underestimate its capabilities. Although the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is a next-generation chipset, it still brings great performance to the phone.
