It is known that the US technology "giant" - Nvidia and the leading Japanese telecommunications group - SoftBank Group will cooperate to create a mobile network supported by artificial intelligence (AI) in Japan.
Accordingly, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and SoftBank Group CEO Masayoshi Son announced the above plan at an event organized by Nvidia in Tokyo on November 13.
The announcement comes amid rapid growth in the technology globally, as the two companies ramp up efforts to capitalize on the growth potential offered by artificial intelligence (AI).
Nvidia has been expanding its operations and developing specialized chips for AI in recent years. Thanks to the AI boom, Nvidia's stock has continuously witnessed breakthroughs, making the company one of the technology corporations with the largest market capitalization in the world.
Meanwhile, telecommunications group SoftBank is also very focused on developing AI, while promoting investment in startups in this field, such as OpenAI.
