The draft Resolution of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress identifies one of the 10 key tasks for the 2025-2030 term as strongly promoting science, technology, innovation and comprehensive digital transformation in all fields, striving to bring the proportion of the digital economy in GRDP to 40%. Implementing the direction of General Secretary To Lam, Hanoi identified science and technology - innovation and digital transformation as new pillars of development, as " momentum of momentum" in the growth model of the capital.
With a scale of nearly 200 hectares and a total investment of about VND 7,400 billion, the Hanoi Biotechnology Park Project (Silver Lake) starting in August 2025 is a key project of strategic nature, marking a new step forward for the capital on the path of science and technology development and international integration.
