Plan No. 40/KH-UBND issued by the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province on February 7, implementing the Program "Developing human resources for the semiconductor industry to 2030, with a vision to 2050".
Specific goals by 2030 are to train 315 university-level workers in design and development; 750 college-level workers in production; 12,480 junior high school and high school graduates in production, packaging, and testing.
Intensive training for 40 lecturers of Ha Long University, Viet Han Quang Ninh Trade Union on digital technology, electronics, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence.
By 2050, Quang Ninh aims to train a sufficient number of high-quality engineers and experts, in line with the development strategy of Vietnam's semiconductor industry.
Currently, Quang Ninh does not have a training facility for the semiconductor industry. In industrial parks and fields close to the semiconductor industry such as electronic components and smart device manufacturing, there are about 6,000 workers.
With the spirit of "catching up, moving forward and surpassing", Quang Ninh is determined to exploit opportunities from the semiconductor industry, increase investment attraction, and promote economic development.
