According to Phone Arena, Samsung's Samsung Internet mobile browser is finally available on PCs (personalizers) or Windows laptops. The new beta, launched on October 30, 2025, aims to connect your phone and homepage with a history, synchronized page searches, and even some new AI (artificial intelligence) features of the Galaxy product lines.
Starting from October 30, 2025, the public beta version of Samsung Internet for PC will be available to laptop and Windows 11 and Windows 10 tabletop users in the US and South Korea. The goal of this version is to narrow the gap between the Galaxy phone and the computer, creating a seamless experience.
Some features in the beta include:
- Continuous synchronization: This is the most important feature. You can synchronize your page entry, web browsing history, and most importantly, Samsung Pass data. This means that all saved login information and automatic filling information from your phone will be available immediately on your computer.
- Integrates Galaxy AI: The beta version includes a "Webrowser assistant", using AI to summarize or immediately translate any website. This is the useful AI feature that we have seen on phones, now available on computers.
- Private features: The product also has smart anti- tracking features and a privacy control board to help you better control who is following you.
The December computer browser market is currently dominated by Google Chrome. Chrome's strongest point is not only speed; but also the ecosystem. It perfectly synchronizes on every device you own. Microsoft is trying to do the same with Edge or Apple with Safari.
Samsung is an exception. They have built this giant Galaxy ecosystem, but it always has a big flaw in computers. If you're using a Galaxy phone and a Windows computer, your browser experience will be divided.
This new PC processor is Samsung's effort to fix that. The real purpose is not to convert Chrome or Firefox users to be loyal, but to make their Galaxy users no longer dependent on Google.
