On July 13, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan issued a plan to train and foster commune-level cadres and civil servants in 2025. This is the first training session since the new government model came into operation (July 1).
The participants are cadres and civil servants working in 135 communes and wards of the province. Training and fostering classes are organized in person or online, taking place from July 10 to 20.

The goal of the training is to equip, update and improve knowledge, professional skills and expertise for commune-level cadres and civil servants, meeting the requirements of each job position and the effectiveness of local government at both levels.
The program also aims to create changes in awareness, help cadres and civil servants access new ways of thinking, effective working methods, build a team of commune-level cadres with qualities and abilities, meeting the tasks of serving the people and developing localities in the new situation.
The training and fostering content covers the fields of state management, focusing on the time for important and urgent issues, suitable for each job position.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments and branches to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and relevant agencies to develop and compile training programs and documents, and at the same time propose appropriate teaching content and methods to improve the quality of training.
The documents after compilation will be sent to the Department of Science and Technology for digitization, updating into the "Electronic Handbook for Training and fostering" and integrating into the tool "virtual Assistant to support cadres, civil servants and public employees" of the province.
The People's Committee at the commune level is responsible for arranging time and creating conditions for cadres and civil servants to participate in all training and fostering classes, and at the same time reporting the results of the assessment of the quality of the team after training to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Home Affairs).
The Department of Science and Technology is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Justice and relevant agencies to research and guide the digitalization process, update training and fostering content as well as related content, creating a data source to serve the tool "virtual assistant to support cadres, civil servants and public employees", contributing to improving the effectiveness of public service performance and training and fostering work in the province.
Previously, on June 24, more than 6,900 trainees who are officials and civil servants at agencies, units and localities of the old Binh Dinh province completed the Training course to improve their qualifications in digital transformation and digital skills before the day of operating the new government apparatus.
