2 solutions with national digital infrastructure of financial technology startups founded by 100% of Vietnamese engineers have reached the semi-finals of "VietChain Talents 2025".

The contest "Searching for Vietnamese Blockchain Talent: VietChain Talents 2025" has just officially announced the list of 51 entries to the semi-finals.

Ms. Nguyen Van Hien, Vice President of the Vietnam Blockchain Association, Head of the Organizing Committee of the VietChain Talents 2025 Competition, emphasized: 51 entries were selected for the semi-finals based on 4 criteria, including: Practice value, creativity, sustainability - expansion capability, and overall quality of the project.

The entries to the semi-finals were evaluated and voted by a Board of Judges, a prestigious professional council from many leading agencies and units such as the Government Equipment Committee, Vietnam Blockchain Association, 1 Matrix Company, Ministry of Science and Technology, Institute of cryptography, Institute of Advanced Mathematical Research (VIASM), Institute of cryptography Science and Technology and many large corporations such as Boston Consulting Group, Sotatek Technology Joint Stock Company, Viettel Cyber Security, AlphaTrue, ... and development partners.

At the VietChain Talents 2025 competition, Wikex stands out as a financial technology startup founded by 100% of Vietnamese engineers, attracting attention with two creative entries that all convincingly reached the semi-finals.

First is eVND Stablecoin, a digital currency backed 1:1 by the Vietnamese Dong, which plays a bridging role between traditional and non-central finance (DeFi). This digital currency is designed to ensure stability, transparency, and support DeFi applications such as lending, money transfers, and value chain payments on blockchain.

Behind eVND is SOVN Chain, a sovereign blockchain platform Layer-1 developed by Vietnamese people on the Substrate platform, supporting more than 10,000 transactions/second, integrating ZK technology to ensure security and high expansion capability.

This is a platform solution designed to serve key national applications such as digital identification, public asset management, public administration and interconnected financial transactions.

In the second competition, Wikex introduced the standardized digital asset trading floor model. This is considered the first platform in Vietnam to combine blockchain technology and domestic legal compliance. Wikex.vn aims to digitize, standardize and trade assets such as bonds, startup stocks, real estate, property rights... in the form of token, also known as Real World Assets (RWA). This is a breakthrough in forming a transparent, legal, low-cost digital asset market and easy to access for ordinary investors.

Wikex's two solutions are not independent but connect in a complete digital financial ecosystem, including DeFi products such as eVND-Lend, eVND-Bond, eVND-Remit and DAO governance model. All products are designed according to the philosophy of "taking advantage of design right from the design", easily integrating with national systems such as RAR Center (C06), commercial banking, population data platform and electronic identification.

VietChain Talents is the largest blockchain contest ever, up to 3.5 billion VND, with the first prize of the Layer 1 theme worth 1 billion VND in cash, the remaining 3 topics worth 500 million VND/tournament.

After 2 months of launching, the contest received more than 300 ideas from 220 teams, recording 138 official entries submitted. 51 semi-final entries will go through a live presentation to the Jury from July 21 to July 31, to select promising projects to enter the final round.
