In the context of the uncertain future in the US, TikTok - a platform owned by ByteDance - has decided to significantly improve the experience on the web version.
The new changes include a reshaped navigation bar, an additional Explore tab, a trinh diener on Chrome, and especially support for livestreaming games in horizontal mode.
TikTok now supports full-screen gaming livestream in both vertical and vertical modes. Previously, to livestream widely, users were forced to use the TikTok Live Studio application. With the new update, viewers on desktop will see horizontal mode by default, while mobile users can rotate the device to view in full-screen vertical mode, similar to how it is displayed on YouTube or Twitch.
In addition, TikTok also launched a platform exclusively for Chrome on desktop, allowing videos to always appear even when users switch to another window.
Another notable feature is the Collections, similar to YouTube playlists, which allow users to organize their favorite videos into their separate categories, making it easy to find them later.
In addition, mobile app features such as the suggested content line for you and Explore, which displays trending hashtags and outstanding videos, are also available on the web version.
These improvements have now been rolled out globally.
